Force Plates are devices that measure your interaction with the ground while performing certain movements, most commonly a jump. These devices provide insights into your movement patterns, strength, and weaknesses. Regular use of these devices will enable training adjustments, measure progress in physical therapy, and facilitate efficient return-to-play. These devices are commonly used in elite sports settings- such as NFL combine, NBA combine, and most collegiate settings.

  • How often should I test?

This depends. We recommend for regular training monitoring at least after every training block, but can be done as frequently as daily/weekly to monitor for fatigue. For biomechanical assessments we recommend at least 1-2 x per year.
